Expect a throwback with this newsletter's format for a few weeks - long time subscribers will remember this look!
I've been thinking a lot about compounding recently, and building a body of work that lasts.
It's incredibly cool to have the ability to publish these writings directly to you (and not need to fight an algorithm) - but after you read them, they're one swipe away from being archived.
I archive newsletters too, no offense taken.
On top of that, I love finding internet rabbit holes to go down: where one piece of content leads me to the next one, which isn't easy or intuitive to do with the "Tickets" format this newsletter was using.
Since I'm in the thick of turning my best-selling program, Total Station Domination, into a book, I've found myself revisiting one of Ryan Holiday's not-that-popular-but-still-super-insightful books called Perennial Seller. Combine those insights with James Clear's strategy with Atomic Habits (for those that don't know, he notoriously blogged while writing that book "in public" to dial in the specifics of every single chapter), and the plan is to implement these learnings into the TSD book project.
You can look forward to "Essays" going forward, featured on the Repertoire website as a blog, and links shared to new Essays right here in the newsletter.
You can read them, give me feedback directly, and skip over ones that don't catch your eye to explore any of the other content we curate for you. First one is linked right below:

Our Take: We made it a point to cover this on the podcast this week because I'm such a fan of applauding this when I see it. Put this in contrast with other awards that are glorified marketing stunts or one-and-done rage bait attempts and this is an awesome way to give credit and uplift leaders in the industry.
